Joe David Fiers age 74, of Redkey passed away Sunday March 1, 2020 in IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Portland June 16, 1945 the son of William Russell and Dolores (Rawlston) Fiers. He was married in 1976 to Molly Esther Muncy and she passed away on December 15, 2019. He was self employed and worked as a butcher and truck driver. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.

Surviving are one son Chris Fiers of Colorado and one daughter Carmella Bellott (husband Flynn) of Angleton, Texas, one sister JoAnn Pierce of Muncie and Four grandchildren

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 5:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland with Pastor Rob Farris presiding. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Redkey. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
