Jerry W. Binegar, age 59 passed away Sunday afternoon August 14, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born in Portland, IN on September 4, 1962 the son of the late Donald and Thelma (Morgan) Binegar. Jerry had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, fishing and wrenching on motors. He enjoyed visiting the mountains, which he did with one of his daughters just a week ago. A bucket list item of seeing the ocean was also checked off earlier this year. Jerry will best be remembered by always willing to lend a helping hand, his stubbornness, and his ornery personality.

Surviving are four daughters Jami (Daniel) Cox of Selma, IN, Danielle Reichard of Union City, In, Crystal Gilbert of Celina, OH, And Michelle (Josh) Lea of Alexandria, IN, Five sisters Barbara Nuckols of Union City, IN, Caroline Sue Adkins of Portland, IN, Vicki (Rick) Butler of Kingston, TN, Teresa Stewart of LaGrange, IN, Pamela McIntire of Dunkirk, IN, and one brother David (Laura) Morgan of Hartford City, IN, Ten grandchildren Brayden Rowles, Brant Manning, Oaklee, Ava, and Addison Reichard, Zoey, Ella, and Brooks Gilbert, Charleigh and Teagan Lea. Many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 PM  Memorials can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
