Jay N. Southworth, age 66, of Bryant passed away on Wednesday July 23, 2025 at his residence.  He was born in Tipton, Indiana on March 29, 1959 the son of Jesse and Mardell (Cook) Southworth.  Jay served in the US Army, was a 1977 Jay County High School graduate and was a long haul truck driver.

Surviving are one son Shawn Southworth of Bryant, four daughters Amy Southworth of Celina, Haley Booth of Pennsylvania, Sierra Hoff of Peru and Marissa Maxwell of Hartford City, one brother Jesse Bevans of Dunkirk, two sisters Jessica Fisher of Portland and Debra Echevarria of Bluffton, Twenty two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son Chris Southworth, a daughter Jennifer Hough and brother Carl Southworth.

There will be no funeral services.  The family will be having a gathering for family and friends on Sunday July 27th in the Bryant Wesleyan Church.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.  Memorials can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.  Online condolences at www.bairdfreeman.com
