Janet Shirk age 62, passed away Monday afternoon January 27, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Portland November 29, 1957 the daughter of Glenn and Nada Lea (Coble) Shreeve. She had worked at Tyson Foods as a microbiologist. She was a 1976 Jay County High School graduate and also a Purdue graduate.

Surviving are one son Michael Wilhelm of Chattanooga, Ohio and one daughter Michele Hunnicutt (husband Carl) of Fort Wayne, her mother Nada Shreeve of Redkey, two brothers Roger Shreeve (wife Karen) of St. Mary's, Ohio and Jerry Shreeve (wife Kathy) of Portland, Four grandchildren

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Salamonia Cemetery. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society, Jay County Humane Society or any Hospice.
