James Robert Charles Thompson, age 31, of Winchester passed away Friday July 16, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Palatka, Florida on October 1, 1989 the son of Daniel and Tonya (Hammond) Thompson. He had worked for Cooper Farms and was a Parkway High School graduate in Rockford, Ohio. James enjoyed fishing and working on mechanical projects.

Surviving are four brothers Cody Thompson of Bedford, Indiana, D.J. Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, Timothy Thompson of Portland and Mikey Tackett of Coldwater, Ohio, one sister Misty Moore Gilbert (husband Sebastian) of Portland, several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland are in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
