Homer Money age 90, of Kokomo, Indiana, and former Portland resident passed away Thursday morning in Aperion Health Care in Peru. He was born in Jay County September 3, 1925 the son of Clyde and Edith Louise (Case) Money. He was married in 1972 to Marilyn Hole who survives. He was retired from Chrysler and served with the U.S. Army Aircorp during WW II. He was a member of the American Legion, Drum and Bugle Corp., Jay Lodge #87 and 14

Surviving are his wife Marilyn, one son Rhett Money of Muncie and one daughter Marvi Money of Muncie, one step-daughter Susan Kotterman (husband Dave) of Lafayette, three grandchildren Aaron Money, Mitchell Kotterman and Cameron Kotterman.. He was preceded in death by sons Rick and David.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
