Hitomi Huey age 87, 2370 East 300 North Portland passed away Sunday afternoon at her residence. She was born in Yukohama, Japan January 1, 1930 the daughter of Saburo and Kikue (Kawakami) Ogura. She was married April 23, 1952 to Keith L. Huey and he died June 26, 1995. She retired from CTS in Berne after twenty nine years.

Surviving are one son James Huey of Portland, two daughters Shirly Miller (husband Greg) of Portland and Mary Davidson (husband Jim) of Berne, one sister Reiko Shur of San Fransisco, Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

Private family services will be held with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Jay County Humane Society. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
