Freda J. Nicklay, age 65, of Portland passed away Tuesday November 29, 2022 in Randolph Nursing and Rehabilitation in Winchester.  Born in Portland on December 13, 1956 she was the daughter of Wilbur and Betty (Blumenhurst) Rogers.  She was married on October 19, 1979 to Lawrence Nicklay who survives.  She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband Lawrence, two daughters Linsey Nicklay of Portland and Nicole Chapman of Dunkirk, one brother Roy Rogers of Dunkirk, Seven grandchildren

There will be no services.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are hadling the arrangements.  Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
