Evelyn D. Dunmoyer, age 97, of Portland passed away on Monday June 17, 2024 at Swiss Village in Berne.  She was born in Winston, Kentucky on September 2, 1926 the daughter of John Walker and Ida Belle (Johnson) White.  She was married on August 9, 1944 to Ervil Dunmoyer and he passed away on December 15, 2011.  Evelyn had worked for Ballastran, Naas Foods, CTS and Standard Brush and Broom.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Rebekkah Lodge, React, Home Ec Club and Prime Time.

Surviving are a daughter Lynn Mayfield of Fort Wayne and two step granddaughters Marcia and Teresa.  She was preceded in death by two sons Randall Dunmoyer and James Dunmoyer and her siblings.

Funeral services will be Friday June 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Hugh Kelly presiding.  Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.  Memorials can be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church.  Online condolences at www.bairdfreeman.com
