Estella Mae McDaniel, age 102, passed away on Wednesday December 21, 2022 in Albany Healthcare.  She was born in Berne on January 24, 1920 the daughter of Daniel P. and Catherine P. (Habegger) Steury.  She was married on June 24, 1945 to Max M. McDaniel and he passed away on November 29, 1987.  Estella was a homemaker and member of Zion Lutheran Church in Portland.

Surviving is one son Terry W. McDaniel ( wife Rosemary) of Tucson, Arizona, four daughters Linda Bone (husband Gary) of Portland, Jane Richert (husband John) of Plainfield, Elaine Raszkowski (husband Jim) of Indianapolis and Ann Tullis (husband Tracy) of Monrovia, one sister Verna Tharp of Albany, Oregon, Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by six sisters.

There will be no services at this time.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.  Memorials can be given to the Lifestream of Delaware County.
