Elsie Maude Walker age 85, of Portland passed away Thursday August 6, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Crossville, Tennessee on September 6, 1934 the daughter of Charlie and Eliza (Farr) Norris. She was married to William R. Walker and he passed away in 2018. She was a homemaker and atteded the Fellowship Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons Garry Walker (wife Jody) of Portland and Kevin Walker (wife Brenda) of Portland, three daughters Karen Jenkins (husband Steve) of Portland, Betty Smith (husband Steve) of Portland and Lori McCurdy (husband Ed) of Portland, one brother Tom Norris and four sisters Lilly May Henry, Ida Smallwood, Hassie Oaks and Leona Taylor all from Tennessee, Twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren

Funeral services will be Wednesday August 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Hugh Kelly presiding. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Pennville. Visitation will be from noon till 1:00 PM prior to the services. Memorials can be made to Fellowship Baptist Church
