Elnora O'Brien, age 100, of Ridgeville passed away Sunday August 22, 2021 in Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester. She was born in Wayne County, Indiana on November 9, 1920 the daughter of Herman and Marie (Gaede) Emmenegger. She was married to Edgar Wendell and he died in 1967, she later married Charles O'Brien and he died in 1998. She was a seamstress and had worked for R.M. Thomas Company in Muncie. She was a member of the American Legion Aux. In Ridgeville.

Surviving are one daughter Victoria Weddle (husband Burl) of Farmland, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons David Wendel, Joe Wendel and Doug Wendel, one daughter Pat Dixon (husband Alvin who survives).

There will be no funeral services. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland are in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
