Eldon T. Miller, 95, of Portland passed away on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at Persimmon Ridge Nursing Home. He was born in Mercer County, Ohio on February 19, 1930 the son of True and Dorothy (Macy) Miller. He was married on September 10, 1949 to Rowena Fortney and she passed on May 18, 2024. Eldon was a longtime barber and owner of Miller Barber Shop in Portland for many years. Eldon graduated from Bryant High School in 1948, a member of the Portland Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, Amateur trap shooters association, the Arch Bridge Kroozers, Asbury Methodist Church, and member and past president of the Vintage Motorbike Club

Surviving are three sons Larry Miller (wife Cindy) of Frankton, IN., Ron Miller (wife Lucretia) of Portland, IN., and Tab Miller of Portland, IN.
Eight grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren and One great great grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother Norman Miller and sister Bonnie Miller.

Funeral services will be on Monday May 12, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Rittenhouse presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery west of Bryant.  Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the Vintage Bike Club.
