Dwight E. Michael age 72, former Bryant resident passed away Friday December 22, 2017 at Brookdale at Carmel, with family by his side. He was born in Portland July 23, 1945 the son of Donald and Jesteene (Walter) Michael.

Surviving are his wife Patricia De Michael of Henryville, IN., Two sons Matt Michael (wife Michelle) of Henryville, In. and Nathan Michael of Indianapolis, One daughter Missy Albano (husband Matt) of Fishers, three brothers Dwain Michael of Greenfield, Doren Michael of Grand Island, NE and Don Michael of Portland, Four grandchildren Jalyn, JD and Jude Michael children of Matt and Michelle Michael and Ashlynn Michael daughter of Missy and Matt Albano.

Dwight held a Masters Degree in Physics from Ball State University, taught high school physics, astronomy and math for 43 years in the Jay School Corp.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at the Jay County High School Sunday January 7 ^th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM with services to follow. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
