Dorothy Ferguson age 77, 126 East Arch Street Portland passed away Thursday at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born June 5, 1941 in Frenchburg, Kentucky the daughter of Russell and Eskleen (Brooks) Berry. She was a aid at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.

Surviving are one son Phil Ferguson of Portland, one daughter Debbie Ferguson of Hartford City, two brothers Terry Berry of Frenchburg, Kentucky and Ronald Berry of Dunkirk one sister Tracy Calton of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren She was preceded in death by a son Tim Ferguson and a sister Katherine Stephens

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Dunkirk. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
