Donnie W. Ware age 56, Portland passed away Sunday morning in the Jay County Hospital. He passed away peacefully with his daughter, son in law and dog Betsy Grace by his bedside. He was born in Peru, Indiana August 28, 1960 the son of Ralph and Bertha (Davis) Ware. He served with the US Army and was a self employed truck driver.
Surviving are his daughter Diana Englehardt (husband Greg) of Portland, three sisters Paula Joseph of Hyden, Kentucky, Clover Bearfield of Ridgeville and Carla Hart of Portland, two grandchildren Kaeleigh and Ezechiel Englehardt.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 5:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Edwards presiding. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Jay County Cancer Society or to the family.
