age 78, of Portland passed away Monday January 20, 2020 in the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Portland July 24, 1941 the daughter of Dale and Frances (Rohrig) Kinsey. She was married June 23, 1962 to Phil Hanlin who survives. She was a special education school teacher and then a child welfare case worker. She attended Mount Zion Church, member of Tri Kappa Sorority and 1959 Portland High School graduate and earned her Masters Degree from Ball State University.

Surviving are her husband of fifty seven years Phil, one son Chris Hanlin (wife Kelly) of Sonoma, California and one daughter

Teresa Michelle Currie of Portland, Three grandchildren Riley, Mackenzie and Aaron.

Funeral services will be Saturday January 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Borders presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
