David Waters, age 69, of Portland passed away on Sunday December 24, 2023 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  He was born in Jay County on July 20, 1954 the son of Roger and Jacqueline (Ayers) Waters.  David had worked at Teledyne Portland Forge and was also a truck driver.  He had served in the US Army.

He is survived by a son Richard Waters of Winchester and preceded in death by a brother Jerry and sister Debbie.

There will be no services.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
