David C. Vasquez
age 78, 816 West Water Street Portland passed away Sunday in Ried Hospital in Richmond. He was born in Hughes, Arkansas on August 16, 1937 the son of Daniel and Paulina Vasquez. He was married to Margarita Esparza and she died in 2012. He was retired from Ft. Recovery Industries and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Surviving are three sons Ruben Vela of Portland, David Vasquez Jr. of Meadville, PA. And Visente Vasquez of Portland, one daughter Paulina Vasquez of Portland, three sisters Lupe Bennett of Redkey, Carmin Zigler of Dunkirk and Mary Conley of Bluffton, Eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters Virginia Vasquez and Teresa Gutierrez.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 P.M. In the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Moran presiding. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. In the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
