David Loy age 92, 816 East Race Street Portland passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Portland September 20, 1923 the son of Wesley and Ruby (Kessler) Loy. He was married April 29, 1947 to Martha Lare and she died March 24, 2007. He was owner and operator of Loy's Market in Portland for many years. He was a Portland High School graduate, served with the US Army as a medic during WW II in Europe and the Pacific. He was a lifelong member of the Portland Friends Church.
