David Hedges age 61, a Portland native passed away Sunday October 11, 2020 in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born in St. Marys, Ohio on January 30, 1959 the son of Adlie and Marilyn Hedges. David was a 1977 Jay County High School graduate and played on the basketball and football teams. He had worked in construction.

Surviving are his parents Adlie and Marilyn Hedges of Dade City, Florida, one daughter Christina Ann Dolina (husband John) of Virginia, one brother Daniel Hedges (wife Nicole) of Burbank, California and one sister Penni Cremer (husband Joseph) of Carmel, Indiana. Grandchildren Josephine Ann Dolina and Joshua Mathew Dolina, Neices and nephewa Robert Hedges, Jake Hedges, Brooke Taylor Fourthman and Brandon Hunter Fourthman

Memorial services will be held Tuesday October 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with burial in the Zoar Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Zion Lutheran Church. Online condolences at www.baird-freeman.com
