Daniel Grogg, age 51, of Portland passed away Friday morning February 25, 2022 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Bluffton on May 27, 1970 the son of Paul and Carol (Addington) Grogg. He was married on April 26, 2003 to Robin Heniscey who survives. Daniel worked at FCC in Portland and was a 1989 Jay County High School graduate. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, driving his golf cart and the antique engine show.

Surviving are his wife Robin, two daughters Kelsey Grogg of Albany and Ashley Hartman (husband Johnathan) of Portland, parents Paul and Carol Grogg of Bryant, brothers Jim Grogg of Columbus, Ohio, Chris Grogg (wife Hiromi) of Japan and Steven Grogg (wife April) of Geneva, one granddaughter Persephine Hartman and several nieces and nephews

A memorial service will be Saturday March 5, 2022 in Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00AM. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society or the family.
