Daniel Burkey age 75, of Portland passed away Friday October 30, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Portland on June 28, 1945 the son of Russell Theodore and Esther (Walker) Burkey. He was married on August 14, 2013 to Barbara Williams who survives. Daniel had worked for 4M in Portland and earlier at Naas Foods. He was a US Army veteran and Portland High School graduate. He was a member of Tri State Gas Engine and Tractor Association.

Surviving are his wife Barbara, two brothers Larry Burkey (wife Gail) of New York and Robert Burkey (wife Virginia) of Portland and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral services. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
