Craig Myers, age 63, of rural Bryant passed away on Saturday June 17, 2023 in IU Jay County Hospital.  He was born in Portland on June 5, 1960 the son of Ralph and Mary (Yaney) Myers.  He was married on July 11, 1981 to Terena Strong and she passed away on January 28, 2011.  Craig worked for 34 years at Bearcreek Farms in maintenance and farming.  He attended Jay County High School.  He enjoyed fishing, mechanical work and fixing things.

Surviving are two sons Jason Myers in Kansas and Kyle Myers in Indiana, one daughter Lindsey Myers of Bryant. Four brothers James Myers of Portland, Kenneth Myers of Portland, Michael Myers of Portland and Jeff Myers of Tennessee, four sisters Rose Snow of Portland, Sandy Lingo of Portland, Debra Bost of Portland and Kristy Ainsworth of Portland, three grandchildren Layla, Embrey and Peyton.  He was preceded in death by siblings Roger Myers, Allan Myers, Gary Myers, Rick Myers, Linda Runyon, Rita Cline and Carol Sue Myers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.  Memorials can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or any organization helping children.
