Connie Bentz age 64, of Portland passed away Tuesday November 17, 2020 in Albany Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born in Portland on June 1, 1956 the daughter of Richard and Evelyn (Bost) Bentz. Connie was a 1974 graduate of Portland High School and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She also helped with the Jay County Hospital Aux.

Surviving are a sister Sharon Cavanaugh (husband Larry) of Portland , Nieces and Nephews Theresa Cavanaugh, Andrea Milthaler, Diana Parsons, Susan Funk, Mark Funk and Tiffany Botkin. Several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Carol Funk and nephew David Cavanaugh.

Visitation will be Monday November 23, 2020 in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Randy Smith presiding. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Memorials can be made to Asbury United Methodist Church.
