Clarence Courtney, age 65, of Portland passed away on Thursday May 8, 2025 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare in Portland.  He was born in Bluffton on March 9, 1960 the son of Wendel and June Butcher.  He had worked as a farmer.

Surviving are his companion Sherri Hicks of Portland, daughter Shawna Sallade of Portland and brother Chris Cavanaugh of Portland.

There will be no funeral services.  Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
