Christina A. Hicks, age 41, of Portland passed away on Thursday October 30, 2025 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  She was born in Indianapolis on December 16, 1983 the daughter of Edward and Judith (Armantrout) Hicks.  Christina had worked for Wal-Mart, Crowne, FCC and Tysons.  She was a 2003 Jay County High School graduate and participated in basketball, softball, track and cross country.  She coached T-Ball and was an avid IU and Colts fan.

Surviving are her parents Edward and Judith Hicks of Portland, one brother Edward Hicks of Portland, one sister Amanda Fisher-Hicks of Winchester, nieces and nephew Blake Iliff, Alivia Iliff, Abigail Fisher and Addison Fisher, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday November 7th at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Flint Redwine presiding.  Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Portland.   Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 – 7:00 PM.  Memorials can be directed to the family.
