Charlie Goodman 71, of Muncie a former resident of Portland passed away July 22.  His wife, several children and his mother was by his side at the Brickyard Nursing Facility in Muncie.  He was born March 12, 1954 McMinnville, Tennessee.  Parents Louis Goodman (deceased) and mother Bessie nae Ramsey Goodman Thomas.

He served in the US Army and attended  the Church of God of Prophecy.  He had his own business prior to his illness, Goodman's Bail Bond.

He is survived by his wife Susan nae Bletzacker), his mother Bessie Goodman-Thomas both of Muncie IN.   Four sons: Anthony Stanley (westville, IN) William Goodman (Portland, IN) Bobby Goodman and Bobby Goodman II (Muncie, IN) Two daughters: April Stanley (Hobert, IN) and Samantha Pearce (Muncie, IN). 2 sisters: Rita Bolton (Surprise, AZ) and Kimberley Gwyn (Muncie, IN). 1 brother Louis Goodman Jr (deceased).   13 grandchildren and 4 great children.
He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral services will be Monday July 28th at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Werst presiding.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Green Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 -2:00 PM.  Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.  Online condolences at www.bairdfreeman.com
