Charles D. Butcher age 72, of rural Dunkirk passed away Friday January 3, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Portland October 25, 1947 the son of Charles D. and Dorothy (Hiestand) Butcher. He had worked at Sheller-Globe and was owner of Butcher Concrete.

Surviving are two sons Brian Stanton (wife Letha) of Muncie and Charles (wife Veronique) of Evansville, two daughters Lori Enterkin (husband Lee) of Muncie and Kimberly Waltermire (husband Terry) of Muncie, Eight grandchildren , Five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother Donnie Butcher and two sisters Deloris Meehan and Carolyn Hough

Graveside services will be held Monday January 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Wells Cemetery in Portland. Pastor Bill Taylor will preside over the services. Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
