Carolyn Jean Huey age 86, of Portland passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare in Portland. Carolyn was born in Bryant on November 5, 1934 the daughter of Harold and Dollie (Myers) Garlinger. She was retired from Corning Glass in Bluffton and was an elderly caregiver.

Surviving are three daughters Diana Kay Schott (husband Ed) of Union City, Ohio, Janice Marlean Huey of Geneva and Susan Elaine Huey of Portland, Eight grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Ted Huey, two brothers James Garlinger and Wilson Garlinger, two sisters Alverga Delee Shug and Mable Thrash.

Funeral services will be Thursday December 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Jellison presiding. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 2:00 at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Hemophiliac Foundation.
