Carl F. Hinshaw age 77, passed away early Thursday morning in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare. He was born in Jay County June 19, 1938 the son of Dale and Wilma (Whipple) Hinshaw. He was married August 27, 1960 to Joyce A. Gillum and she passed away June 11, 1999. He was employed at Joyce-Dayton and was a member of Jay Lodge #87 F&AM, Scottish Rite and Trinity United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two brothers Jay Hinshaw of Ft. Recovery and William Hinshaw of Portland. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Rice presiding. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Memorials can be made to Jay County Cancer Society or Trinity United Methodist Church.
