Brandy S. Gierhart, age 45, of rural Winchester passed away on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at her residence.  She was born in Portland on March 7, 1978 the daughter of  Art Thornburg and Carolyn Gierhart.  She was a homemaker and 1996 Winchester High School graduate.  Brandy enjoyed Harley Davidsons, Native American collectables, rock hunting and going to car shows.

Surviving are her mother and step father Carolyn Gierhart and Art Thornburg of Winchester, one son Kory Gierhart-Cochran of Winchester, one daughter Brianna Gierhart-Neuenschwander of Winchester, one brother Chris Garner of Portland, two sisters Corrine Garner of  Portland and Amanda Gierhart of Muncie, granddaughter Braylynn Gierhart-Cochran, nieces Freedom Sewell and Blazlyn Gregory, uncle Curtis Gierhart of Muncie, half sister Carla Garner.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Bill Gierhart, Francis and Betty Pugh and uncle Wes Gierhart.
