Linley W. "Bill" Lawrence, age 78, of Bryant passed away on Thursday January 18, 2024 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare in Portland.  Born in Decatur on April 13, 1945 he was the son of Willam and Alice (Totten) Lawrence.  He was married on October 11, 1964 to Sandra Whetsone and she passed away on May 5, 2018.  Bill was retired from Red Gold and also worked as a carpenter.  He was a member of Bryant Volunteer Fire Dept., Economic Development Committee, Bryant Town Council and 1963 Bryant High School graduate.

Surviving are one son Gary Lawrence (wife Kathy) of Portland and one daughter Rita Flick (husband Brian) of Ridgeville, three grandchildren Brittney, Mariah and Gavin

Funeral services will be Monday January 22, 2024 a 6:00 PM I the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Van Cise presiding.   Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery west of Bryant.  Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.  Memorials can be made to Bryant Volunteer Fire Deparment.
