Betty J. Lyons age 62, passed away Sunday afternoon at her residence. She was born in Portland July 14, 1953 the daughter of George and Mildred Pauline (Whipple) Myron. She was married July 19, 1975 to John Lyons who survives. She was a Social Worker for the state of Indiana. She was a 1971 Portland High School graduate and a 1974 Purdue graduate in Home Ec.

Surviving are her husband John Lyons of Portland, IN, Two son Rex Lyons (wife Kendra) of Portland, IN and Curtis Lyons (wife Joni) of Portland, IN, One Brother Dr. Stephen Myron of Portland, IN, one Sister Bonnie Dixon (husband Bruce) of Laurenceville, GA, and Four Grandchildren.

There will be no funeral services. Memorials can be made to Family Life Care.
