Betty L. Brumbaugh, age 83, of Portland passed away Thursday October 6, 2022 at her residence.  She was born in Bryant on August 20, 1939 the daughter of Harold and Irene (Franks) Moser.  She was married on September 5, 1964 to Richard L. Brumbaugh and he passed away on November 6, 2019.  Betty was a homemaker and babysitter and had been an operator for United Telephone. She attended Union Chapel Church and was a 1957 Poling High School graduate.

Surviving are one son Rick Brumbaugh of Portland, one daughter Karen Hill (husband Bob) of Portland, Four brothers Kenneth Moser of Bryant, Cliff Moser (wife Jo) of Portland, Max Moser (wife Frances) of Bryant and Duane Moser of Bryant, one sister Barbara Booth (husband Art) of Geneva, Sister in law Mary Moser of Portland, Six grandchildren Kayla Busch (husband Kyle), Kara Stewart (husband  Mason), Clayton Hill, Jordan Brumbaugh, Robert Gibson and Ashlee Mechling (husband Brant), Three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a daughter Kim Gibson and brother Jack Moser.

Funeral services will be Wednesday October 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Hummel presiding.  Burial will follow in the Wells Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM.  Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
