Bertha Catherine Ineichen age 93, of Fort Wayne and a Jay County native passed away Monday morning in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. She was born in Jay County March 8, 1925 the daughter of Virgil and Lola Iris (Dunmoyer) Johnson. She was married June 28, 1947 to Fred Ineichen and he died June 15, 1991. She was a seamstress and homemaker and had worked at Jay Garment. She was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church and was a Portland High School graduate.

Surviving are one daughter Lynn Ann Bercot of Fort Wayne and one son Stanley Ineichen of White Lake WI., Three grandchildren She was preceded in death by a son Gary Ineichen.

Private family services will be held with burial in the Center Cemetery in Portland. Memorials can be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home or Cancer Services of Fort Wayne. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland are in charge of arrangements.
