Barbara Jo Stuteville, age 69, of rural Portland passed away Wednesday January 19, 2022 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born in Gatlin, Ohio on June 25, 1952 the daughter of Dale and Laura (Weber) Sanderlin. She was married on July 4, 2015 to Susan Stuteville who survives. Barbara had worked as plant manager for Jay Products for over forty years. Barbara enjoyed fishing and camping and loved her family very much.

Surviving are her wife Susan, one son David Jacks of Union City, Indiana, two daughters Robin Jacks of Portland and Sherry Hensley (husband James) of Portland, two sisters Karen Mara of Mansfield, Ohio and Nancy Eagleson (husband John) of Madison, Indiana, two granddaughters Courtney Franks and Sarah Jacks, several step-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be Wednesday February 9, 2022 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM in Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
