Anne I. Husmann, age 90, of Portland passed away Monday January 9, 2023 in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare in Portland.  She was born in Ibbenburen,        Germany on August 3, 1932 the daughter of August and Margaret (Dekker) Vogeler.  She was married on January 20, 1955 to Henry W. Husmann and he passed away on September 13, 2006.  Anne was a homemaker and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are one son Heiner Husmann (wife Billie) of Fort Myers, Florida, two daughters Cecelia Johnston (husband Gary) of Portland and Elizabeth Grote (husband Dale) of Decatur, one sister in Germany, Eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Henry and a daughter Monika Husmann.

Funeral services will be Saturday January 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Logsdon presiding.  Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home.  Memorials can be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or Alzheimers Foundation.
