Alice Fayellen "Fay" Morehous age 86 of Portland passed away early Monday September 3rd in IU Jay County Hospital. She was born in Jay County November 11, 1931 the daughter of Jay and Mae (Johnson) Collins. She was married March 1, 1951 to John E. Morehous and he died March 17, 2006. She was a 1949 Gov. I P Gray graduate. She had worked for Hanlin Drugs and retired from Jay Garment both in Portland.

Surviving are two daughters Jeri Wentz (husband Mike) of Pennville and Amy Hime (companion Chad Stout) of Portland, two granddaughters, three grandsons and one great grandson.

Graveside services will be Saturday September 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Antioch Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Ward presiding. Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
