Aaron Michael "Speedy" Darr, age 42, of Portland passed away on Friday June 14, 2024 in Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana after having a seizure.  He was born in Bluffton, Indiana on November 28, 1981 the son of Loren Rick Denney and Wanda Darr.  He had worked for MSSL in Portland.  He enjoyed the outdoors, music, family and doing construction work.

Surviving are his father Rick Denney of Mitchell, IN., his mother Wanda Darr (husband Earl) of Dunkirk, one son Zane Darr of Dunkirk, Companion Melissa Ausland of Portland, three brothers David Denney of Columbia, KY., Brandon Denney of Portland and Josh Darr of Dunkirk, three sisters Carisa Coffman of Ridgeville, Harlonda Denney of Glasgow, KY and Sarah Denney of Redkey, several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother Jon Jon Darr.

There will be no funeral services.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird-Freeman Funeral Home.  Memorials can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
